The device that arrived was a Marinco fitting although the same type of fitting as the Scotty2126 it was not the Scotty marked model and lacked the additional waterproofing at the connection end which means it will allow water ingress. It will work as needed but it is a cheaper model and will require additional waterproofing before and after fitting

Unfortunately Scotty has officially discontinued all their Marinco made plugs. We got the news without much noticed and short after every supplier ran out, including Scotty. The plugs/receptacles we carry in house are all sourced from Scotty, as bulk, even though it does not say Scotty on it. At the time we were able to find some in our inventory to send out to you. Unfortunately they do not come with the extra rubber casing, because they are for shop uses.
We apologize for the lack of communications; our intentions were to get you the plug one way or the other as they ran out very quickly, and we have no other sources to get them back.
